The Main Band performed 3 excellent sets at the Kent Garden Show on Sunday 25th May. Although the weather forecast was less than encouraging, it turned out to be a warm and pleasant afternoon, and the band responded to the appreciative audience with some with superb playing which was well received. The Band were joined by the Choral Society for the last big concert of the year in St. Dunstan’s Church on Saturday 14th December. The Band gave its annual concert in aid of Demelza Hospice on Saturday 12th October. Two years on from our fantastic concert with Trombone Maestro, Chris Thomas (See report), it was time once again to feature a guest soloist for our annual fundraiser concert supporting Demelza.
