Chris Cannings
Principal Cornet & Flugel Horn (1970s-2014)
About
Chris started his banding 'career' at the age of 10 with Egham Band but later moved to Kent and subsequently joined Cranbrook Town Band where he rose to become Chairman.
Chis is a former cornet player and held the principal cornet position for a number of years during the 1970-90s before taking over the flugel position in the early 2000s until his retirement in 2014.
In 1992 he started to attend SCABA meetings and was soon elected to the Executive Committee and ever since has played a major role in all of the Associations activities.
