Stepping out in Front
Cranbrook Town Band were both honoured and delighted to once again play in the Service of Remembrance at St. Dunstan’s Church and lead the Remembrance Parade through the town to the War Memorial, where we played hymns during the laying of the wreaths.
Given the recent stormy conditions, the weather was exceptionally calm, sunny and mild, a factor which contributed to the fantastic turnout in the town.
It was an absolute delight to have six of our Training Band band on parade today, with the youngest player being 10 and the oldest, Robin Traves, the Training Band conductor, being 79.
