Concert
During the evening of Saturday 3rd November 2018, Cranbrook Town Band and Wealden Consort Choir shared the stage at St Dunstan’s Church in a joint celebration to mark the centenary of the end of the 1st World War. The event was organised by Dave Hazelwood on behalf of the Cranbrook Branch of the British Legion all of the profits went to that organisation.
Each group performed a number of solo items relating to the era as well as some joint pieces and the concert was well received by an enthusiastic audience who excelled themselves in the community singing sections of the evening. The programme featured some excellent playing from the band and some very fine close harmony singing from the choir. More details can be found in the Programme of events on the menu.
