Brass and Voices

St. Mary’s church was packed for the second year running when Cranbrook Town Band and Kilndown Community Choir celebrated Anglo French relations with a joint concert on Saturday the 9th of July.

In an absolutely delightful evening both groups were fantastic in their own individual slots and brilliant together. The youth sections of both organisations were a delight to hear!

Audience participation included singing along to La Marseillaise, pieces from Les Miserables and of course the obligatory Land of Hope and Glory / Rule Britannia finale !

We have a few pictures of the evening together with the programme details. Be sure to look out for our next  joint venture.

Here is a selection of items from the programme, recorded live by one of the band members.
