Children who play brass instruments were given the chance to play in a band at Benenden Hospital.
A total of 11 youngsters attended the Cranbrook Town Band’s twice-yearly open rehearsal in the hospital’s boardroom.
They were joined by the regular senior players, who showed them the ropes and passed on their experience.
Band chairman David Newsom said “It was great and everyone had a good time.”
“What was lovely to see was the children coming in to a strange environment and playing very confidently and with real skill.”
Some of the pictures of the night show what a great time was had by all.
